Due date To E File Income Tax return Extended to 07/09/2015

Due date to file Income tax return for Non audit cases was 31.07.2015 for  AY 2015-16 later it has been extended to 31.08.2015 .Further it was again extended to 07.09.2015 for Residents of Gujarat but now Income Tax department issued a order vide which due date has been extended for all over India.

However You should note Two points
  1. That due date is extended only for those persons who are required to E file Income Tax return by 31.08.2015 (read Person required to file mandatory efiling of Income Tax return )
  2. That If you are eligible to file paper return then date is not extended for you.
So if your Income is less than Five lakh or refund is not due to you then return due date is not extended for you (subject to other conditions )

Trick

If your Income is less than 500000 the you may file paper return so date is not extended for you even you are voluntary planning to efile the return but a instant trick may help you, If you show a refund of Rs-1/- or more in your Income tax return then due date applicable in your case will be 07/09/2015 .
