APVAT Act 2005 –VAT Registrations- Registration Drive-certain instructions issued

The attention of all the registering authorities and other field officers is invited to the references cited. It has come to notice that there are still considerable number of Registration applications and dvisory visits pending. Hence  a registration drive is proposed in  the month of December 2015 and the following instructions are issued in this regard.       

1. All the Registering authorities are hereby directed to complete all pending registrations (VAT/TOT) by the end of the month December 2015.
2. All the pending advisory visits/re-advisory visits to the  business premises shall also be completed in the month of December 2015.
3. All the Deputy Commissioner(CT)s of the divisions are directed review the pending Registration applications with the registering authorities and ensure that  all the registration applications are processed and Certificates issued, where all  conditions  are fulfilled within the  due date. They shall also review the pendency of advisory visits and re-advisory visits with the officers concerned and ensure completion of this work in December 2015.
4. The results of registration drive information in the following proforma will be reviewed every week.

Circle name	Number of Re-Advisory Visits Due in the beginning of the week	Number of new  cases of Re-Advisory visits allotted in the week	Number of Re-Advisory visits completed in the week	Number of Re-Advisory visits pending at the end of the week
